Civilian Casualty ReportThe Civilian Casualty Report summarizes casualty data grouped by several different time series. Reports depicting injuries and fatalities by day of week, hour of the day and month are available on the website. These reports consist of six graphics showing the number of injuries or fatalities by property use, incident type, total injuries or fatalities by the selected time series, fire injuries or fatalities by the selected time series and non-fire injuries or fatalities by the selected time series. Mutual Aid Given calls are included but exposure incidents are excluded. Source: NFIRS 5.0.
Detailed Selected Statistics Report This report provides a frequency summary by several Incident Types. Information included is average personnel, apparatus, man hours, and response time The report excludes mutual aid given and exposure incidents. It is in order by county then FDID number. Mutual Aid Given calls are included but exposure incidents are excluded. The Incident Type series are: 100s - Fire; 200s - Overpressure Rupture; 300s - Rescue / EMS; 400s - Hazardous Materials; 500s - Service Calls; 600s - Good Intent Calls; 700s - False Alarms; 800s - Severe Weather; 900s - Special Incidents. Some departments are listed that have merged with other departments, which distort the fire department count listed at the end of the report. Source: NFIRS 5.0. 2005 (958 KB) 2004 (956 KB) 2003 (912 KB) 2002 (911 KB) 2001 (912 KB) 2000 (921 KB) Fire Department Reporting History This report shows the years that fire departments submitted reports on incidents in their jurisdictions or let the office know that they had no fires for the year (only fires are required by law to be reported). The information begins with 1983. Departments are marked as reporting based on the FDID number entered on the reports. In some instances one department in a district will report for all departments in that district under one FDID number although each department has their own number. Only the department submitting the reports is indicated as reporting. Some departments are marked as reporting that statistics do not appear in other reports. This is due to reports being received late so were not included in the statistics. Report (1.7 MB) Fire Department Statistics This report shows the number of fire incidents, civilian injuries and deaths (fires only), firefighter injuries and deaths (fires only), dollar loss from fire, EMS, haz mat, service calls (includes Severe Weather calls), good intent calls, false alarms, and other incident types (includes Overpressure Ruptures and Special Incidents) for each fire department. The information is present by graphically and columnar. Information included on the report consists of number and percent of structure, vehicle, outside, other and total fires by fire department and state.
