FIREWORK AMNESTY DAY HUGE SUCCESS

A very successful Fireworks/Firearms Amnesty Day was held in Ralston, NE at the Ralston Fire Dept on March 9, 2006. The Amnesty Day was worked by members of the Fire Dept; Nebraska State Patrol; Omaha Police Dept; Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives; and the State Fire Marshal’s Office.

During the 4 hours of amnesty 19 guns, several boxes of ammunition, cardboard kegs, metal and plastic containers of black powder, a few simulator hand grenades and a lot of fireworks were dropped off at the site.
