One-Call Notification System Act

The One-Call Notification System Act was implemented in October, 1995 to aid the public by preventing injury to persons and damage to property and the interruption of utility services resulting from accidents caused by damage to underground facilities.

Everyone who “digs” should contact the one-call center to determine if any underground facilities exist that could be damaged by the excavation. The number to call is 1-800-331-5666. For more information on this Act, refer to State Statutes 76-2301 through 76-2330 and Title 155, Chapter 2.
